i love laura: i can hardly wait until laura nyro's remastered and re-released cd/album
"nested" finally arrives in the states this coming week--when the original disc came out so many years ago, it never charted, and became a bargain bin cut out quickly, however, it stands as one of my favorite laura nyro albums of all time (along with "smile" which i listened to my entire freshman year of college.) i went on a nyro binge the other day and listened to so many old favorites: "gonna take a miracle," "you don't love me when i cry," "upstairs by a chinese lamp," "the bells," and "i am the blues" were a few gems that came through the headphones. sometimes only laura nyro will do!
